Tallahassee, FL--It is now official, the Florida State Seminoles are into the Super Regionals of the NCAA baseball tournament. The 'noles finishing the regional they hosted by closing out a win early Monday afternoon against Alabama. The Tide needing to beat FSU twice going into yesterday's afternoon game, but the Seminoles led it 8-1 when bad weather forced them to halt the game in the top of the 6th.
They picked it up at noon eastern, Jayce Boyd helping to seal it with the two run bomb to left in the 8th. Florida State goes on to win
it 11-1, so they finish regional play a perfect three and oh. The 'noles will host their super regional this weekend against the winner of Monday night's game between Arizona and Texas A & M in College Station.
