Lakeland, FL--It's bad news for Mosley alum Clete Thomas, he's been cut by the Tigers as part of the team's second to last wave of cuts.
Thomas played in 17 games this Spring, with 12 hits in 42 at bats, a 286 average, 4 runs scored and 6 rbi. He was fighting for one of the four outfield spots on Detroit's roster. Clete heading back to Triple-A Toledo where he spent last season before needing surgery on his left knee.
