Jameis Hauls in ACC Honors

Tallahassee, FL---It should be no surprise to anyone Jameis Winston has been named the ACC Offensive and overall Player of the Year! In fact he's now the first underclassmen to win the league's Player of the Year honor.

The redshirt freshman led the nation with a 192.6 pass efficiency rating. He's passed for 34 hundred yards and 35 td's. And the only thing that can possibly keep him from winning the Heisman at this point, is being charged with sexual assault. Wednesday is Jameis' day to talk to the press, and among other things today, he talked about how his team can still say so hungry after so much success!

"It's easier man, because when your team has the same goal in they mind, you become hungry for it. You don't become lackadaisical and create in your mind oh we almost there. That's the mentality we created this year. It's easier because we hungry. I mean we even prepare harder. I'm not gonna say we're going to over-prepare and do things like that, but we want it. It's just, you gotta be on the team 'bro, it's just in there."

Jameis leads the Seminoles into that ACC title game against Duke, Saturday 8 eastern in Charlotte.

As for off the field matters, Jameis will learn Thursday if he's going to face rape charges stemming from an incident last December. The State Attorney in Tallahassee says his office has finished it's investigation into that matter and will release it's decision Thursday at 2 pm eastern.
