Jamey Shouppe is out as Florida State's pitching coach, that the school announcing Monday coming by "mutual decision."

Tallahassee, FL-- It's official, Jamey Shouppe is out as Florida State's pitching coach, that the school announcing today coming by "mutual decision." Shouppe might seem the scapegoat of the 'noles falling short of making it to the World Series, but it's really a four slide in the program's pitching numbers, with the team e-r-a this season just under 4 and a half. Many think former FSU pitcher Mike Bell, who's currently the pitching coach at Oklahoma, is the front runner to succeed Shouppe, who was an FSU assistant for 21 years.
