Jimbo Fisher Reflects on Seminoles Before BC

Tallahassee, FL --- Florida State is in a great spot. 3-0, ranked eighth in the latest polls. All good things going for FSU as they head into a seven game stretch where they'll face all ACC opponents.

Head coach Jimbo Fisher was quick to point out mistakes or improvements that could be made today with the team now gearing up for conference play. But he also touched on his star quarterback, Jameis Winston, and how the Redshirt Freshman is becoming more aware and more active with each game.

"One or two things I thought he tried to get a little aggressive with. But I'd rather say 'whoa' than 'giddy up'. I like the aggression. I like the going at it. Thought he kept his poise. Every time he'd come to the sideline, he was articulating what was going on in the game, what he saw. But I thought he played a very solid football game."

Fisher also previewed this week's matchup against Boston College.

"They've got a week off to prepare for well. Steve (Addazio) does a great job coaching. They're a very physical offense (and have a) very good offensive line, probably the best we've seen so far. You've got to control the line of scrimmage."

Jimbo, Jameis, and the Noles will play their second ACC game of the year when they travel north to face Boston College this Saturday.
