Jimbo Signs Contract Extension, Gets Big Raise

Tallahassee, FL---Florida State is handing Jimbo Fisher a rather nice raise in the wake of an undefeated regular season and ACC title in 2013.

Shortly after busing it over to the airport and as they got close to closing the door of the plane which would take the Seminoles to California Tuesday, coach Fisher reportedly signed and handed back to school officials his new contract!

The deal, agreed to during the season, is worth $21 million over five years, so an average of $4.25 million a season. That's a nice raise from the $2.75 million he was making.,

The deal does not preclude Fisher from considering other job offers, but it does include a buyout. Jimbo's name, among others, has been kicked around in relation to the vacant Texas job.

Fisher is 45-10 since taking over for Bobby Bowden four years ago and is 3-0 in bowl games. Seminole Nation really hoping that will soon be a 4-0 bowl record.
