Tallahassee, FL--Over in Tallahassee the Florida State football team hitting the field Monday afternoon for their first official fall practice.
Coach Jimbo Fisher heading out on his third season at the helm in Tallahassee, and hoping the third time is the charm in terms of competing for the national championship.
Before Monday's workout, coach Fisher met with the media to talk about starting fall practice, and carrying over the momentum he feels his guys began building in the summer.
"It's good to be back, anxious to get things going." says coach Fisher. "It feels good, the summer's over, and we can actually get back to football and have some fun. You know we're looking forward to having an outstanding year. Our guys did a great job this summer of conditioning, one of the best ones we've had. In a lot of different facets, not just strength, but the conditioning parts, just changing bodies, and things, and the way we've trained. I'm very happy, a great attitude, I like the attitude and the demeanor of our football team."
The Seminoles gearing up for the opener which comes at home on September 1st against Murray State.
