Tallahassee, FL-- To college football and over in Tallahassee. Coach Jimbo Fisher getting set to guide the 'noles into their opener Saturday at home against Louisiana Monroe.

"I think our guys are anxious to play another jersey, somebody in a different colored jersey. Hopefully we know, the big thing is our will to prepare for them to go play that jersey. That's the big thing we need to go focus and concentrate on. Make sure we dot our i's and cross our t's and become as prepared, get into that habit of game preparation and understand the mindset and the way you have to go about your business.

Louisiana Monroe coming off a 5-7 season, three of those losses to SEC teams Arkansas, Auburn here, and LSU. It's a team returning 18 starters though, and is picked by many to win the Sun Belt Conference. Game time at Doak Saturday 7 eastern. FSU favored by 29.
