TALLAHASSEE, Fla- In college football news and a sad note concerning FSU Head Coach Jimbo Fisher. Through the University Jimbo released a statement Friday asking for prayers while his youngest son Ethan battles a serious health issue. Ethan is five years old.

Fisher said he and his wife, Candi, "Ask for your prayers as our family is dealing with a very personal matter concerning the health of our youngest child. We ask you please respect our privacy as we deal with this as a family. We will rely on our faith, our immediate family as well as the entire Seminole family as we face these challenges in the coming months. With the right medical care and the proper optimistic approach, we are confident of positive results."

The statement did not go into detail regarding the illness, and it's not known what effect Ethan's health issues will have on Fisher's schedule.

Florida State did push tomorrow's scheduled scrimmage back to Monday, but that, we're told is related to the bad weather they've dealt with this week.

My prayers are with your family. As a student at FSU, I had blood problem which turned out to be a rare gentic disorder. The doctor at the "infirmary" actually knew what it was when I talked to his son and family when we all lived in the Washington DC area. Please check out all options as there are many in Washington DC/ Baltimore area. Peace to your family.
