Josh Wright Feeling Positive After Impressive Classic Showing

Panama City Beach, FL---There are several area prep football programs about to get in their first regular season games with a new coach at the helm come Friday.

Count the Arnold Marlins as one of those teams. Josh Wright moving west during the off season from Franklin to Arnold.

Marlins fans getting a good look at what the fish will look like this season Friday night in a kickoff classic against Bozeman. And yeah it was a 5A team vs. a 1A team, still the Marlins looked good in every phase, rallying from an early 8-6 deficit to win 49-14.

"We're thrilled with how we came out of the gate for a jamboree," says coach Wright "or classic against Bozeman. You know Bozeman's a well coached group, first class players, a great staff. We felt our staff had our kids where they needed to be, lining up properly, flying to the football. And we were pleased with it. The film showed that we've got a ways to go and that we have some areas to improve on this week. And hopefully we're a week better come Friday night against Holmes County. But all in all, felt pretty good to put the feet on the floor Saturday morning."

As coach indicated there, the Marlins will open the regular season against Holmes, the Blue Devils losing in their classic Friday 15-6 at Graceville.
