Lady Commodores Look Ahead to Trip to Pensacola

Panama City, FL---Round two of Panhandle play comes up Wednesday night. For the Lady Commodores that means a trip west to Pensacola.

The Lady Commodores looking to make it two for two in league play after opening Saturday with a home win over previously unbeaten Northwest Florida State. I spoke Tuesday with coach Skeete about her feelings coming off that opening league win.

"Well we didn't quite play the way we wanted to, but a win is a win, we'll take it. We definitely didn't play up to the goal that we have set. Which is good for us, it's good to get a win when you don't play as well as you would like to play. So we have a couple things that we can take back, which is good. Because we have a couple of things that we can check-mark when we have a growth point, where we can get better at. So we can manage all of our mistakes and kind of come in and consistently work and keep the girls hungry."

The ladies play Wednesday night at 5:30, the men at 7:30. The Northwest teams host their Chipola counterparts Wednesday.
