Panama City, FL---The Gulf Coast softball team racking up it's 6th and 7th straight wins Tuesday by sweeping a doubleheader against visiting St. Petersburg, 5-0, 7-0 the finals.
Coach Painter and her team getting another stellar effort on the mound from sophomore Olivia McLemore who tossed the game one shutout with 10 strikeouts. She also closed the second game, teaming with Haley Elver for that shutout.
Katie Gardner with a two run homer in the opening win, Emily Sanders took one out of the yard in game two.
The two victories over St. Pete take Gulf Coast's overall record now to 19-6.

Lady Commodores in the home white taking the lead in the bottom of the second, first and second for the aussie, Sian Colee who lays down the bunt, the error allows Katie Gardner to come around to score.
Then it's the freshman out of Tally, Anna Martin blooping one into left, that plates Paige Caraway to make it a 2-0 game.
Olivia McLemore, the sophomore out of Salem Alabama, working to protect the lead, four strikeouts over the first three innings, including this one in the third.
Bottom half of that frame, after Brittany Wylie just misses a homer to left and settles for a double, Gardner lines this one over the fence in right center, making it 4-0.Gulf Coast adds one more and McLemore goes on to toss a shutout with ten k's.
