Lady Dolphins Excited to Host State Play for First Time

Lynn Haven, FL---Thursday will be an exciting night on Mosley's campus as it will mark the first time ever the Lady Dolphins softball program will host a state tournament game.

They get the privilege of hosting thanks to their district title win a last Thursday over Gulf Breeze at Rutherford, and now, will host Suwannee in this historic matchup for the program.

The Lady 'Fins have made six straight trips to the FHSAA Championships, but have had to battle travel, fatigue, and much more when taking to the road.

Now, they get the advantages of playing in home, sweet home.

"It's huge to have more fans here," says head coach Brian Wilke. "It's your park so you know how everything plays. It's just a big advantage. You don't have to travel. You don't have travel lag. All those things are a huge advantage to playing at home. We've had to battle in the last six years. We've done well, but it's always a little bit of an edge to be at home."

First pitch Thursday night is at 7 PM.
