Lady Dolphins Fall on Day 1 of Marlin Christmas Classic

Panama City Beach, FL --- Head Coach Jon Mason and his Mosley Lady Dolphins started play at Arnold Friday in the 9th annual Marlin Christmas Classic.

In the highlights attached above from the 1st quarter, Mosley's down but pushing the ball ahead, Kiana Yangson gets it on the perimeter and knocks down the three ball. That cut the defect to 4.

Then, T'ara Cesar is gonna come up with the loose ball, that leads to the fast break, and the easy layup. The freshman makes it a two point game.

Now check the quick initiative from Yangson off the inbounds, to Hennessey Smith for the score.

But it's not enough for Mosley, as they fall to the Lady Tigers 70-54. Lady Dolphins will play Pleasant Grove of Alabama tomorrow at 1:30. They sit at 10-4 on the campaign.

The Lady Tigers in the process set a tournament record for most points scored in a tournament game. The old mark was 67 points held by both Briarcrest Christian Academy (TN) and Cookeville (TN) from 2012.
