Panama City, FL --- After two days of delays, the Mosley soccer team has to be itching to get back on the pitch and play their second round playoff match.
The Lady Dolphins, a 3-2 winner last Thursday night in their playoff opener, play a region semifinal Friday night at West Florida, a match originally set for Tuesday.
The team did get some indoor practice in this week at Fusion Fitness Center.
"We actually are very thankful that we can practice when most of the schools do not have this opportunity," said Mosley head coach Marek Betkowski. "So it was great that we could practice here this week. And hopefully it's gonna work in our advantage, so every day we did something, and were able to work on something. And I know because of the weather, some schools just couldn't do it."
"We've just been working on playing our game and doing what we know how to do, keeping the nerves down," says Junior Stevie-Marie Mullins. "And just working together like we have all season. The game's been a lot quicker for us, so we've been able to play a lot quicker. And it's, we're getting a lot of good work in here because it's so small and just everything's so quick."
Also playing Friday, some area boy's teams who've had their first round matches postponed one day. Mosley hosts Gulf Breeze, Bay's at Choctaw., Niceville hosts Lincoln and Freeport's on the road at Wakulla. All the highlights and finals tomorrow night at ten.
