Panama City Beach, FL---The Mosley girl's soccer team is headed again to the state playoffs, and Friday night gets a shot at a district title. That comes in the wake of Mosley's 6-0 win over Rutherford in their 3A-2 district tournament semifinal Tuesday night.
The Lady Dolphins got on the board just 8 minutes into the match when Rachel Bates boots home a long, unassisted goal with a left footed bomb.
Just ten minutes later, Bates scored again, assisted by Stevie-Marie Mullins at the 18 minute mark.
Mosley would add two more goals before the half, the first coming from Serena Nakamura, assisted by Jordan Lewis at 36 minutes.
Then it was Elizabeth Vickers scoring an unassisted goal at 38 minutes, it was 4-0 going into the half.
Taylor Hallmon adds an unassisted goal just 6 minutes into the second half, and Jordan Gurganus, assisted by Mullins on a corner at the 66 minute mark puts the cap on the 6-0 win.
Mosley will face host Arnold Friday night at 7 with the district title on the line. Both have already guaranteed themselves a state playoff berth.

The Lady Rams in the dark uniforms and with an early opportunity, Mixon kicks it ahead to Cheyenne Beck who works around the defender but just can't get enough on the left footer to get it past Mariah Rhinehart.
Then at the 8 minute mark, the Lady Dolphins do get on the board, #11 Rachel Bates sets her self up for the 25 yard shot, up and over and in! 1-0 Mosley.
Some ten minutes later it's Bates again from close to the same spot, ball moving around the the box, Bates spots up and gets it just off the fingertips of keeper Cameron Lloyd, 2-0 Mosley.
Nakamura, Vickers, Hallmon and Gurganus each add goals after that, Lady Dolphins win 6-0 they nail down a playoff berth and will go for the district final Friday.
