Lady Indians Continue To Work Towards Common Goal

Marianna, FL---It is yet another week of work for the Lady Indians. After winning three games, and the state title down in Ocala last week, the team that's been practicing and then playing since October,
continues to work towards the trip to Salina and Nationals next week!

Chipola head coach Greg Franklin says no doubt it's a tiring process, but his players are forging through and doing so with the right attitude.

"But right now they're pushing through it." Franklin says. "All of them have upbeat attitudes. They're all excited, even if they do hear from their friends who are on spring break. They're still looking forward to the week of basketball. because I think they all have their eye on the prize right now. They have blinders on, if you want to say."

Chipola will work out at home again Friday, then drive to Atlanta Saturday and fly from there to Kansas.

The Lady Indians are the two seed, and they get a first round bye, and play their first game in Salina Wednesday at one central.
