Lady Raiders Impressive In Opener at Nationals

Salina, KS---The Northwest Florida women's basketball team is off to a good start at Nationals in Salina, beating Denmark Tech out of South Carolina Monday 102-55.

The game never close as the Lady Commodores came out smoking, starting the game with a 23-8 run. Northwest stretched that lead to 51-14 by halftime, and the game was basically over.

The Lady Raiders getting balanced scoring led by Rudi Eduardo's 17. Alyssa Dupree adds 16, and Lindsay Jennings contributes 15.

The win takes Northwest Florida to 25-6 and moves the team into a second round game Tuesday at 4:30 Tuesday afternoon against South Georgia Tech. The box score from the game is attached.
