Lady Raiders Play Their Way to National Quarterfinals

Salina, KS---The Northwest Florida Lady Raiders win for the second time in as many days at the National Tournament in Salina, Kansas Tuesday, beating South Georgia Tech 81-80 in overtime.

That win taking the Lady Raiders to 26-6 on the season and puts them into the national quarterfinals Thursday against top seed Trinity Valley out of Texas.

Simone Westbrook led Northwest Florida with 22 points, Carla Batchelor knocked down 20 and hauled in 13 rebounds. Ty Fleming added 12 points and 12 rebounds.

The Lady Indians of Chipola play their opening game at Nationals Wednesday at 1 o'clock against ASA of New York.
