Lynn Haven, FL---After parting ways with Chris Martello after nine years with the school, the Mosley Dolphins have found their new boys basketball coach.

Leland Loper from Jefferson County High School in Monticello, a 1A school, was officially hired by AD Josh Vandergrift Tuesday night to be the new leader of the green and orange.

Loper was the top choice out of 57 candidates the Mosley search committee looked at. The 57 were narrowed down to 10 options, which was then cut to five candidates who were brought in for interviews.

Loper spent the past four seasons coaching at Jefferson County, while running his own AAU organization, Tallahassee Showtime Hoops for the last five.

After speaking with Coach Loper, he's excited to meet his players just before noon Thursday for the first time and start plotting out the offseason workout schedule.
