Panama City Beach, FL---Sunday morning over at Hombre, the Lite Scratch Tour Florida finished it's ninth tournament of it's 13 event season.
46 golfers in total from all across the Panhandle came together this weekend, starting in February and lasting till the fall. They play against each other on the amateur tour, growing their games through competition and friendship, even when a tournament title is on the line.
"I think the guys who are in contention probably get a little tighter, or a little bit more tight lipped and the guys who played bad the first day are relaxed," says tour director Mike Riley. "And typically when you play bad the first day, they get more relaxed and play better the second day so that makes everybody happy."
