Manuel Talks About Wide Open FSU Offense

Tallahassee, FL--Hard to believe this coming Saturday presents the first road test for the Florida State football team. That is the case though as the Seminoles get set for a trip to Tampa.

FSU, at 4-0 and ranked 4th in the A.P. , heads there Saturday to face 2-2 South Florida.

Florida State 17 point favorites heading south, seems like a rather low spread given how well EJ and the offense are playing, having averaged 56 a game so far. And doing it with an attack that hits you in a variety of ways!

"Yeah I think that's something that....it's hard for teams to get ready for us preparation wise." says EJ Manuel, FSU's senior quarterback. "Because you don't know if I'm gonna run it Lonnie's gonna run it, if K.B.'s gonna run it, or another receiver's gonna run it. Or if I'm gonna throw the ball, that's a lot of things you gotta cover during the week and you only have so many days to practice. I think that's the great thing about our offense, we're very diverse and we can do a lot of different things."

That game in Tampa set for a 5 central time kickoff. FSU looking for some payback for that loss USF hung on them back in 2009.
