Panama City Beach, FL---The Arnold Marlins are once again taking several lifters to the state tournament set for Kissimmee later this month.
Arnold with at least 5 lifters making it to state, as those five, Tim Moriarity, Darius Smedley, Quinton Bertrand, Nick Riley, and Danny Anderson all winning their respective weight classes during Monday's 1A sectional meet which the Marlins hosted .
The Marlins could see another 8 lifters qualify based on their weight totals, though that remains to be determined.
The Marlins have already won two state team weightlifting championships, and have three state runnerup finishes.
Bay's Telvion Boyd is heading to state thanks to finishing first in his weight class of 183. The attached document has all the top four finishes from this 14 team meet and their weight totals.

This the clean and jerk, Arnold's Timmy Moriarity, in the 119 class, putting up nearly double his body weight, 215 pounds. His 445 total first in his class, he's headed to state.
To the bench, Darius Smedley in the 139 class, throws up 285 pounds, a new school record for his weight class. A 490 total sends him to state as well.
Another Arnold lifter Quinton Bertrand, benches 305 pounds. His 535 total tops in the 155 class.
