Marlins talk optimism as they get set for road trip.

Panama City Beach, FL-- On the high school football front and over at Arnold. Coach Hale and his Marlins currently working towards a bit of a road trip, to take on Satellite Friday in the Cocoa Beach area on the east coast of the state.
That will be a game sandwiched in between last week's big district win over Rutherford, and a bye week, which will lead into another district game at West Florida on the 28th.
To say the least that win over the Rams a few nights ago has really lifted the spirits of this Arnold squad which now has a 1-1 league mark with two to play.

James Hale
Arnold Head Coach

"After we lost to Gulf Breeze and the fashion in which we lost to them everybody was really disappointed and down. And we had lost to Mosley the week before and I'm telling them you can celebrate one day and you can be depressed one day and after that you can forget it. We didn't play well against Gulf Breeze, we hadn't been playing very well but now it seems like we're starting to gel a bit. And the win against Rutherford is really gonna boost our confidence, I think the kids are really gonna play really hard. They know now we control it, if we win out we're gonna either win the district championship or be in the state playoffs."

Hale says one reason for playing at Satellite is because he had trouble scheduling other opponents. Secondly, he's taking the team down the night before, and that he says optimistically, would be good experience for the team if it makes any kind of playoff run and had to endure a long road trip.
