Niceville, FL---It's not unusual for Niceville to be busy on National Signing Day and this Wednesday was no different.
The big drama there this year surrounding receiver/defensive back Tyree McCants. He stuck to his commitment to South Florida, despite Georgia and FSU coming in with late offers!
McCants telling the Northwest Florida Daily News USF was with him since day one, and he felt it important to stick to his decision. He feels South Florida's a program getting ready to "blow up". I feel good about it he told the paper, it was the right decision.
Three of Tyree's teammates signing as well today, defensive end Marqui Daniel, with Eastern Kentucky, offensive lineman Connor McJunkin with Cumberlands, an NAIA in Kentucky, and offensive lineman Mitchell Matthews with Division two Fairmont State in West Virginia.
All four of these players part of a team that made it all the way to the 7A state championship game.
