Momentum on the Seahawks Side

Santa Rosa Beach, FL --- The Seahawks of South Walton host Cottondale Friday night in a non district game, but no doubt a game both teams want very badly. The Hornets are 4-2 and looking to bounce back from a loss to Vernon.

The Seahawks AT 3-2 are looking to capitalize on the momentum gained with the upset win over Chipley this past Friday.

"That was huge for our program," said Head Coach Phil Tisa. "Maybe one of the biggest victories for South Walton football at least in the nine years that I've been here. I think a lot of it was relief, because it was such a tight ballgame, and at the same time just pure joy, because we're not used to winning games that people don't think we're supposed to win."

That Cottondale-South Walton game set for 7:00 Friday on the latter's field and will be one of several games featured on Friday Night Overtime.
