Mosley, 9 Other Area Softball Teams in Playoff Games Tuesday

Lynn Haven, FL---Ten area prep softball teams will be on the diamond in state playoff games come Tuesday night. Four of them playing second round games after winning region quarterfinals last week.

Mosley and Niceville among the group playing a second playoff game. That has those two teams playing head to head in fact for a 4th time this season with Niceville hosting that game Tuesday night.

The Lady Eagles with 7-6, 5-2 and 7-0 wins over Mosley, the latest of those in the district title game a couple of weeks ago.

So how do the Lady Dolphins come up with the right recipe to turn things around against a team that's 26-1! We posed that question to Mosley head coach Brian Wilke.

"I think cut down on the mistakes, if we can cut down on the mistakes...they're a good team. We've got to play error free softball and get the hits at the right time, that's the key. I'm not gonna tell you everything, but we're probably gonna do some things that might fool them a little bit. Yeah we've got some things in store for them that they haven't seen yet."

The other area playoff games set for Tuesday night are Rutherford at Suwannee in the 5A Region Semifinals. In their 4A Region Semifinal
it's Marianna at Madison. And three 1A Region Semifinals are on tap, Chipley at Poplar Springs, Port St. Joe at Sneads and Wewahitchka at Liberty. All those games are 7 p.m. local time starts.
