Lynn Haven, FL---Safe to say the process of hing a new head football coach at Mosley is well under way.
I had a conversation Tuesday with Mosley Athletic Director Danny Nagy who told me they began officially advertising the opening just after Thanksgiving. The vacancy created with coach Perry Brown finished his drop and had to retire from the positon.
Coach Nagy says that advertising will continue until the end of this week. He says the resumes are rolling in, and estimates between 40 to 50 have been sent to the school at this point.
So he's confident they will have at least 50 qualified applicants to choose from. Without naming them, Nagy says he'll lead a 7 person committee made up administrators, boosters and others who have a vested interest in Mosley High School.
And that committee Nagy says, will start combing through the resumes next week, working to narrow a list of possible interviewees and go from there. The hope Danny says, is to have a new head coach in place by February.
