Mosley Looks Ahead to District Test at FWB

Lynn Haven, FL--Are the Mosley Dolphins ready for district play?

Well ready or not, they're going to get a taste of it come Friday when they travel west to Riggs Stadium to take on the Fort Walton Beach Vikings in the 6-A district two opener for both.

The Dolphins began the season with a lopsided loss at Wakulla, but have rebounded nicely with lopsided wins against 1A West Gadsden, not a huge surprise, and 5-A Arnold, a bit more of a surprise.

The 'fins certainly seeming to put it all together in that 28 point win at Gavlak last Friday, and perhaps that was the start of some momentum.

Perry Brown is certainly hoping that's the case. "Well I hope so. I hope we can execute like we did against Arnold, and get after it. The kids were aggressive and playing hard. So hopefully that will carry over. I think we're getting better. Fort Walton Beach they always have a good team, coach Owens does a great job of coaching 'em up over there. It's always a war, yeah it's a district game, I expect it to be tough."

Niceville hosts Navarre in another 6-A two opener Friday, Choctaw and Crestview each stay out of district this week, the Indians host a team out of Oklahoma and the Bulldogs play at Catholic.
