Mosley Ready to Face Familiar Foe Rutherford

Lynn Haven, FL--The Mosley boys hope to look at the girls softball team, who advanced to the regional semifinals, as inspiration. After all, they have a very tough challenge laying ahead in their regional semifinal matchup on Tuesday.

The 'Fins hit the cages Friday to account for their wet field, working to get ready to face Rutherford for a fourth time this season, but this time, in do-or-die elimination.

These rivals are as familiar as you can get with each other, and that familiarity will come into play when they square off, playing for their baseball lives.

"We play Rutherford so much and they play us so much over the summer, the fall, and the spring, we know what their guys are gonna do and they know what our guys are gonna do," said Mosley Coach Todd Harless. They team that makes the least amount of mistakes is gonna be the winner on Tuesday night, there's no doubt about that. One team would have to just have a really, really bad night for it not to be a close game and I think that's what's gonna happen."

First pitch in this sure-to-be classic is set 7 PM Thursday night at Shamplain.
