Mosley Swim Team Set for Regionals

Lynn Haven, FL--- To the pool now and the state regionals take place Thursday and Friday across the state.

At least one local squad, Mosley, heading to the 2A regional in Pensacola with some rather high hopes. Steve Burdshaw is Mosley's assistant swim coach and he says the squad has high hopes indeed.

"I believe that the boys team can definitely win regional and win state. Well obviously the boys 200 medley relay, they're defending state champs two years in a row. And they're going after that. I think their goal is to win the state championship and get an All American Cut for that race."

That would mean they are among the top 100 schools in the nation in that event. Mosley led by Michael Duderstadt and Jonathan Ratliff who will be a part of that relay team but also go after individual honors at regional, and they hope, at state.

Burdshaw believes the Mosley girls can finish high enough at regionals to advance to state as well. That 2A regional hosted by Pace at West Florida, set for Friday.
