Mosley Wins District Girl's Soccer Title Over Arnold

Panama City Beach, FL --- On the pitch at Arnold High School, the girls teams of Mosley and Arnold went head to head Friday night to fight for the 3A district two championship.

Mosley swept their two previous games this season, and in fact the Mosley girl's have never lost to Arnold, would that change on this very cold, cold night at Gavlak.

In the highlights attached above from a high scoring first half, Mosley in white, on the board at the 15 minute mark, Stevie Marie Mullins passes towards Elizabeth Vickers who redirects and scores, 1-0 Lady 'fins.

Less than 30 seconds later, Gabby Champagne takes a shot, that's tipped by Mariah Rhinehart, kicked in by Camryn Means, match tied at one.

Mosley goes back in front, near the 25 minute mark, Mullins on a free kick, launches it, it hits the side post and ricochets in, 2-1 Mosley.

Again Arnold responds, just before the half, Kelli Crowley on a free kick, another rocket shot, just over the outstretched hand of Rhinehart, tied at 2.

Just one more goal to come in this one, and it comes near the 70 minute mark, Mullins moving it around, lines up and shoots, and finds the corner, match winner.

The final score is 3-2 as Mosley claims the 3A-2 title, they start the playoffs at home Wednesday, Arnold goes on the road.
