LYNN HAVEN, Fla-This is week 8 of the high school football season and the district races are getting down to the wire. In 4a district 2 the race will be tight with only four teams battling for two spots in the playoffs

The Mosley dolphins had a much needed week off after suffering several injuries in their last two games. They lost both games against Leon and Niceville after starting the year 4-0.

They are preparing for another hug district game against Crestview which is tied with Niceville for the district lead right now.

The Dolphins have their top runner, Derick Carter, back this week but still have to work through some other injuries

“We're still kind of banged up be we do have some of them back, which is going to help tremendously. We're in the thick of things right now.” Mosley head coach Perry Brown said. “Got Crestview coming up this week, which is going to be a district ball game. Because we were open we had a chance to watch them. They beat Milton 27-21, so it'll be a tough test for us. So, we need to try and stay healthy this week."

Mosley is at Tommy Oliver stadium for the Crestview game Friday at 7.
