Mosley preps for Thursday game vs. Choctaw.

Lynn Haven, FL-- We start with high school football and what is a very big football game indeed set for Friday night at Tommy Oliver Stadium.
The Choctaw. Indians coming east to take on the Mosley Dolphins in a 6-A district two game. This matchup is our Southern Orthopedic Specialists game of the week. Let's start with the Mosley camp. The Dolphins are 3-2 overall, and 1-1 in district play. That one league loss coming a couple of weeks ago in Niceville, the Dolphins taking a 10-7 lead into the half, and holding a 13-7 lead until late in the game, when a blocked punt helped set up Niceville's game winning score, that one ending 14-13. The 'fins had a week off last week to deal with that loss, and Perry Brown believes the time off helped.

Perry Brown
Mosley Head Coach

"It was a tough defeate especially the way it played out, with the ending, having the lead all the way there close to the end. Yeah it was good to have the open week, but unfortunately we've had some bug going around with some kids getting sick. Did have a couple of injuries throughout the week so we're not as healthy as we'd like to be at this point. And of course it's homecoming week, short week."

Brown hoping his defense can again help lead the way Friday night against the Indians who come in 4-2 overall, 2-1 in district play.
