Gainesville, FL---Jeff Driskel is back in action and his receiving corps seems to be responding well to that.
Actually it's kind of impressive, the kid had an emergency appendectomy just a couple of weeks ago, and now he's back on the field tossing it around.
He came back earlier this week, this the first time they've allowed us to shoot some of his work with the team.
By all accounts Jeff's looking sharp, and coach Muschamp says for that matter, so is his receiving corps, with two true freshman helping to beef up that unit.
"Right now" says Muschamp "the two young guys at the receiver position are Ahmed Fulwood and DeMarcus Robinson, are two guys that there's no question are going to help our football team, improve our football team. I've been very pleased with Quinton Dunbar and Trey Burton. Those four guys and Solomon Patton. Those five right there have been productive and consistent in what they do and how they perform. Along with that you add Lucheiz and some of the other guys come on, you know I think we'll have a good group."
Muschamp adds standout corner Lucheiz Purifoy will be taking more reps in the next few days as a receiver. As Will puts it, they'll continually evaluate what receivers to play, who best benefits the offense.
That's not just a camp thing, it's a week to week thing as the season goes on. Gators open in two weeks against Toledo.
