Miramar Beach, FL---The Florida Gators have Miami back on the schedule for the 2013 football season, but how likely is it for Florida to continue to see the Hurricanes down the road?
That's something Will Muschamp was asked as the SEC continues to discuss the issues facing the league at it's spring meetings at the Sandestin Hilton.
Much of the talk over there this week centered on the possible, and seemingly inevitable move to a 9 game conference schedule, what with the advent of the SEC Network and all.
That's left coaches like Florida's Muschamp talking to defend rivalry games like Florida State and Miami, which jumps back on the UF schedule this fall. But will it be possible to continue to play Miami down the road?
"Again you'd have to talk to Jeremy and all of our schedule about that. Right now I'm looking at this season. And obviously with all the changes in the Southeastern Conference everything is up in the air. Past 14 we don't even know if we're playing 8 or 9 conference games. So all of that is extremely questionable in my opinion. But we'll continue to play Florida State!"
Good to hear Muschamp and the Gators remain committed to that rivalry game, which is as big to fans of both schools as any ACC or SEC game.
