Sandestin, FL--The SEC spring meetings are winding down at the Sandestin Hilton, and some of the coaches are lingering for all four days, others have come and gone already.
Certainly coming to Sandestin for some official business, mixed in with the beach, golf and some fine dining, at company expense, is anything but tough duty.
That doesn't mean though this kind of obligation among others, makes this a quiet time of year for coaches like Saban, Spurrier, Richt and Muschamp.
"In June we have camps, kicking up as far as evaluation and getting some guys on campus." says Florida head coach Will Muschamp. "Recruiting is an ongoing every day process, it's every day. So you're working through June and July with that. So you're constantly working on opponent study for next fall, getting ready for fall camp, working on practice schedules. Our strength staff's working with our players getting them stronger and in shape, having the type stamina that's necessary for our season in the SEC. So the summer's a critical, critical time for us."
Muschamp says he looks forward to August and the start of fall camp to see what kind of progress his players have made between spring and fall.
