GAINESVILLE, Fla- The Florida Gators are one game into the Will Muschamp era in the swamp, and they started off with a win over the Florida Atlantic Owls Saturday.

There wasn't any real suspense in the outcome which was a 41-3 victory. The coaches are now reviewing the tape and finding where they were right and what needs to be fixed for their next game on Saturday against UAB. One thing Muschamp was pleased with was the play of his senior QB, John Brantley.

"I thought John was outstanding. I thought he got us in and out of the right runs. It was no different then how I felt watching the film. I thought he was very accurate with the ball and what they were giving us. They were playing more of a sink soft coverage and trying to take away vertical reads. We hit the swing passes all night," Muschamp said.
