Springfield, FL---The Rutherford Rams open the P.C. Invitational they're hosting this week with a 12-0 run-rule win over Florida Monday night.
The Rams getting a five inning shutout from Cody Roby, and Nick Nelson, among others, providing some offense with a towering shot to center in the second inning.
The Rams taking their overall record to 8-3. They will host county rival Arnold in a second round game Tuesday night at Shamplain Complex.
The Mosley Dolphins also an opening day winner at the Invitational, beating Leon 8-0. Austin Bizzle pitching a complete game shutout for Mosley, who take their record to 13-1.

Rams in the home white, giving Cody Roby four first inning runs, so the righty working with the lead here in the second, and he shows he can play the field, bouncer to first, Dallas Davis grabs it and flips to Roby for the inning ending out.
Bottom half, after Dondrell Harris walked, it's Davis singling hard up the middle, the Seminoles outfielder charges but let's it get past him.
Harris who was running on the pitch, scores easily from first, Davis then takes advantage of a bad relay and he scores, it's 6-0 Rams.
A few pitches later, it's Nick Nelson with a line drive to center that just may have popped up on Tyndall's radar, well over 400 feet, 7-0 at that point, Rams on the way to a 12-0 win, they face Arnold Tuesday night.
