Tuscaloosa, FL---Sunday served double duty for the Tide, as they hosted fan day and media day at Bryant-Denny Stadium, giving the 'Bama faithful a chance to get meet some of their heroes and make some memories.

Players took the time out after their practice to meet with the diehards along with Coach Saban and the new offensive coordinator, Lane Kiffin. The ever polarizing and much discussed former Tennessee and USC head coach begins his first season in T-Town, no longer running the show.

"Having a little time off there after getting fired at USC, it kind of re-excites you to get back," says Kiffin. "Obviously I loved being a head coach, there was a lot of great things about that, but when you step back and you go into a role being an assistant coach, your focus is so much back on football and player development and working with the players and the other coaches."

Kiffin and the Tide open the year August 30th against West Virginia in the Georgia Dome.
