Tallahassee, FL--Niceville alum Kody Williams is headed up to Chicago and the Horizon League to continue his academic and hoops career.
Williams a 6-2 190 pound guard, originally signed with Southern Miss out of college a couple of years ago, but an injury caused him to miss most of his freshman season there.
So he transferred to TCC last year, and rehabbed his game so to speak, averaging 5 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 28 games for the Eagles.
Going back to Chicago is a bit of a homecoming for Williams, who was born in Chicago before his family moved to the Panhandle. Kody says he feels prepared for dee one ball saying quote "The Panhandle is a tough league and they prepared me mentally and physically, both on and off the court."
