Panama City Beach, FL--It's a basketball lover's dream this week around this area. Freeport, Chipley, Bay and Arnold all hosting holiday tournaments, some just the boys playing, some are coed. The 6th Area Glass Marlin Christmas Classic in the latter category, let's show you some of the action at Arnold Tuesday. Coach Strutchen and his Niceville Eagles the defending champs opening up against Starr's Mill out of Georgia.
Niceville in white going outside here in the first half, that's Matt Cooper for three. Then it's good ball movement, going inside to Michael Mitchell, who gets the short jumper to go. More good ball movement, back out to the wing for number 12 Shane Horton, he gets nothing but net and 3 more for the Eagles.
Then it's AJ Tillman working the baseline, the kickout to Horton who knocks it off the glass. 5 point Niceville lead at the half,
but the Eagles unable to hold that lead in the second half, the Panthers rally and get the comeback win 55-52, so Niceville into the loser's bracket and a 10:15 game Wednesday.
