Niceville, FL-- We start with high school football and a look ahead to a rather big 6-A district two showdown set for Niceville Friday night.
Coach Hicks and his Eagles will host Perry Brown and his Mosley Dolphins. The 'fins come into this one with some momentum, with 3 straight wins over Arnold, Fort Walton and Bay. They are 3-1 overall, one and oh in district play.
The Eagles also with some momentum, surviving a rather tough affair last Friday against Choctaw, the difference in that game a blocked p-a-t late in that game. The Eagles now 3-1, 1-1 in district.
Niceville Head Coach
"You know it was a good win for us certainly after the way we played at Navarre. It was good, you know we'd been on the road for three straight games so it was good to be back home. I thought we played a lot better so I'm proud of our team in that way. You know the main thing is we're getting a little healthier. We've had four or five starters out. We got our quarterback back, so hopefully we're getting closer to getting healthier. And as we get healthier I think we're gonna play better."
Perry Brown also dealing with some injurie issues so far this season, he's lost two starters on the offensive line for the season, yet that ground game continues to churn out the yards.
That game in Niceville set for 7, get there early if you want a seat for that one.
