Niceville looks ahead to game against Central Friday.

Niceville, FL-- For the Niceville Eagles, it's the chance to celebrate yet another close football win! Coach Hicks and company looking back at the 14-13 win over visiting Mosley this past Friday in a key 6-A district 2 matchup. The Eagles blocking a punt late in the 4th quarter that set up the game winning score. Yet another game that as some might put it, gives reason for a coach's hair to turn gray!

John Hicks
Niceville Head Coach

"Yeah but I think most of us already have gray hair so yeah it was one of those games. We've had four one point ball games, we've won three of 'em and we lost the other 22-21 to Pine Forest. You know that just says a lot about our kids, and their belief in each other and their coaches you know."

So Niceville now 4-2 overall, 1-1 in district with two district games left to play. This week it's back out of league play against Central out of Phenix City.

(John Hicks)

"I mean we told our kids today we're getting ready for Central but we're getting ready for Fort Walton Beach and Crestview at the same time. So we're trying to get better today and that was you know and I think we did. That's our focus, we've got to somehow find a way to win the next two district games and get to the playoffs

That game vs. Central in Niceville set for 7 Friday.
