To college football now and the question, are the Auburn Tigers going to lose Nick Fairley early to the NFL draft. We'll know the answer to that for certain by Friday. The Lombardi Award winner's set to make an announcement Friday at his alma mater, Williamson High School in Mobile. The deadline to declare for the draft is Saturday.
Most believe the junior dee tackle is going to jump to the NFL, he's projected as a top three pick overall, and could even go number one.
Fairley the defensive MVP of Monday night's national championship win over Oregon, with a sack, three tackles for a loss and a forced fumble. He led the SEC with 24 tackles for a loss and had a school-record 11.5 sacks. Cam Newton also weighing his decision, no word on when or where he'll make that decision known, but again it has to be by Saturday.
