Hoover, AL---The SEC Media Days coming to a close Friday, but not before 'bama head coach Nick Saban sat down to talk to the press up there. The first thing he spoke about, the loss of some really superb ballplayers.

Nick Saban
Alabama Head Coach

"You know we have challenges to our team this year relative to four first round draft picks not being on our team. All at significant positions, whether it be Mark Ingram at tailback, Julio Jones at receiver, Marcel Dareus being a dominant lineman, or James Carpenter being the left tackle. So as well as, new quarterback, two young, talented guys that don't have the experience we've had in the past. So we have challenges on our team and we're focused on those challenges."

Those two qb's, sophomore AJ McCarron and freshman Phillip Sims, Saban says both should get playing time in the Fall. Even without an experienced q-b, the media up there picking Alabama to beat South Carolina in the SEC championship game, with 8 Tide players, led by Trent Richardson, chosen preseason first teamers.
