North Bay Haven Wins Big in Spring Game

Panama City Beach, FL---One of the area's fledgling varsity programs is North Bay Haven and it's working to get to the level where they can compete with some of the smaller schools in our area on the varsity level.

Coach Jared Hale and his guys able to get on the field Thursday night for some spring football, hosting a team out of Jacksonville, Temple Christian.,

The Buccaneers, running a fast paced offense, dominating from the start, scoring a touchdown on their first drive. That coming on a 21 yard run by Cade Meeks. Later in the first half they would score again with a touchdown pass from David Smith to Darius Richardson.

The Buc's would go on to score 4 more touchdowns in the second half and win 41-0, a good spring dress rehearsal for coach Hale's team. All in all it was a very good night in fact for coach Hale, who proposed to his girlfriend Mariah Baker at halftime, and she said yes!

The attached video shows the following:

Bay Haven in the dark uni's running a fast break offense and it pays off here on the first drive, Cade Meeks down the far side for a 21 yard touchdown run it's 6-0.

Later in the first, Temple trying to take advantage of a turnover, but their q-b turns it over, Devonte Garland with the pick at the goal line and he's bringing it back the other way, 60 yards. The Buc's though would turn it back over.

Late in the second quarter they get another gift, fumble bounces right up to Kamal Sidani and he's off and running, an apparent 65 yard touchdown, but one of his teammates, well behind the play, with a block in the back.

No problem qb David Smith connects with Darius Richardson just before the half, it was 12-0. Buccaneers go on to add 29 second half points and win 41-zip.
