PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fl-- Michael Thompson birdied the final hole of the day for an even-par 70 and a share of the lead headed into final round play at the Honda Classic. He's tied with third round leader Luke Guthrie. The tour rookie signed for a 71 on a windy and cool day at PGA National in Florida.
More established stars Lee Westwood and Geoff Ogilvy are two back after carding 70s.
Tiger Woods began the day nine strokes out of the lead after making the cut on the number. The world No. 2 carded an even-par 70 and is eight off the pace with 18 holes to play.
