Pan Am Championships Under Way in So. Walton

Santa Rosa Beach, FL--South Walton County is currently a hot bed for elite water skiing. the Pickos Ski School at Shortline Lake Estates is hosting the 2012 Pan American Water Ski Championships.

Among the competitions taking place Thursday, the men's over 45 ski jump final.

The video attached to this story shows Angel Francisco of Mexico going up and over the ramp for 156 feet.

A bit later Canadian Mark Stevens looking to beat that, and he does, in fact he sets a new Pan Am Championship record with a jump of 160 feet. Stevens takes the title in that class.
