PANAMA CITY, Fla- A local semi-pro basketball team made another step to getting the team started here in Bay County Saturday. The Panama City Dream held its first open tryouts Saturday morning at The Boys and Girls Club of Bay County.

The team will be part of the ABA, and play games all over the region and even some games across the country. That's the plan for team owner and former College, Pro, and Harlem Globetrotter player A.J. Stallworth.

Players from, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and even local standouts like Michael Vogler, a Bay, Chipola, and Troy alum are trying out for the team.

The team is looking to fill its 12 man roster, and give players another chance to play.

They are also hosting tryouts for a Dance Team to perform at the team games this winter. The team plans to hold another tryout later this month.
